Albany - A story we aired at the beginning of the month, will help thousands of people who can't see, see again.

On February 6th, we told you about Lenscrafters Gift of Sight Program. Since then, thousands of glasses have been collected for the overseas mission.

The story also helped publicize the Albany Mall Lenscrafters location which in turn, encouraged south Georgia Lion's Club to collect glasses. Lions Club members host the eye care professionals while they are overseas.

Lenscrafters has 11 missions a year, two Albany employees have trips planned for Honduras and Mexico. We would like to thank our viewers for donating.
