Albany--The success of a play or movie can often depend upon the costumes the actors wear.

A well known designer shared some of the secrets of costume art with theatre lovers  at Darton College.

Pamela Crevcoure, a professor at the University of Akron, taught a class on period costumes. Crevcoure says the arts, like theatre, still attract today's college students. Crevcoure said "So there is a lot of interest in the arts. But people are trying to balance it off with the economy, and trying to make a living."

The Darton Players will present their play "Samuel- S", starting Wednesday night at the Darton College Theatre. It will start at 8 PM, and run through Saturday.
