Convenience store owners robbed at home

Camilla-- It has happened again in Mitchell County-- convenience store owners robbed at home.

Just after midnight Saturday night, Camilla Chevron owner Sonny Kapoor and his pregnant wife were held at gunpoint. They were tied up with rope and phone cords inside their home.

The two gunmen took an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.

Last Saturday, two men robbed the owners of the Petro station in Pelham. They too were at home and no one was injured.

Investigators believe the two cases are connected. They urge store clerk owners to keep an eye out for suspicious people and notify police.
