Albany- The Albany Arts Council wants you to invest in South Georgia Arts.

The council is having its annual arts development drive for the next two weeks. The money helps support nine arts organizations, including the Albany museum, symphony, and Theatre Albany.

"We're asking all people locally to please donate to the arts drive," said Eddie McCarty, director of the arts council. "There's no such thing as a donation that's too small. We're grateful to get $10, $20, $30, whatever someone can give."

If you want to contribute, go to the arts council on North Jackson Street.
