Roberta, Ga.-- A Georgia mayor who inspired many people with his battle against cancer has died.

Just before Christmas we introduced you to Mayor David Bailey, who spent 20-years in the Army, where was exposed to Agent Orange as a decorated helicopter pilot in Vietnam.

That caused cancer he fought with courage and dignity for seven years.

He died at home last night. Many of you wrote letters of suuport to the Bailey family after our story. They want to thank you for that.

The funeral, with full military honors, will be Wednesday at four in the Crawford County Board of Education Auditorium. David Bailey was 56-years old.
