Cook County - Big changes are happening at a South Georgia state park.

Construction is almost complete on this new handicapped accessible deep water fishing pier at Reed Bingham State Park. A new group shelter is also being built that will accommodate more than 150 people.

The park also has a new manager with big plans. "I really want to start some canoeing programs here at the park," said Richard Bradshaw, Park Manager. "Not only in the lake, but down through the Little River and maybe even into the Withlacoochee."

Construction on all of the park projects should be finished by this summer.
