Albany -- A long time Albany restaurant has moved to a new location. Ryan's Family Steak House cut the ribbon on its new and bigger home on North Westover Boulevard Wednesday morning.

Their new restaurant design has display cooking areas near the buffet lines. You can see the steaks being carved.

Ryan's also is expanding their menu, offering items from low carb fajitas to Chinese stir fry. Ryan's Operating Partner Tim Bowles said "We added quite a few new items, but we still have our famous macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, and fried chicken."

After 20 years on Dawson Road, Ryan's moved to their new home near the busiest intersection in Albany, North Westover and Nottingham Way.
