Albany - Low income families can now get their taxes prepared for free. Starting next week, the non-profit organization Seedi will be preparing taxes out of the Micro Enterprise building in downtown Albany.

Bring in your driver's license, W-2 form, and any other tax information and get your taxes done for free. "To help the community out because a lot of times they don't not what all they can claim. A lot of places you go don't tell you everything, so that's my aim to provide quality tax care," said Tax Preparer Jackie Smith.

The organization is also offering free tax preparation for low income families on Saturday at the Henderson Community Center from 9:00AM to 6:00PM. Donations are accepted.
