Lee/Dougherty County - A suspected drunk driver is in jail tonight after hitting a car, pulling a pistol on a stranger and setting an apartment on fire.

Michael Lee Givens is accused of setting this Albany apartment on Greenleaf Court on fire in three separate areas. It caused $10,000 worth of damage.

Deputies say he took some of his belongings out of the apartment before setting in on fire. Fire investigators say Givens left, but later returned to the scene.

Givens is charged in Lee County with aggravated assault, DUI, failure to report an accident and driving with a revoked or suspended license.

Other charges are pending in Albany.
