Valdosta - A South Georgia man wanted for murder in Texas is arrested for kidnapping.
Thirty-three year old Julio Rivera took a Valdosta woman from her home Sunday afternoon. Police later found the two at Rivera's home in Ray City. The woman had been assaulted, but was not seriously injured.
When Rivera was taken into custody, police ran a background check on him and found that he was wanted for murder in Waco Texas. He's being held in the Lowndes County Jail.
