Mitchell County- A drunk driver caused Saturday's wreck involving a mail truck that sent two people to the hospital.

The wreck happened on Radium Springs Road in Mitchell County Saturday afternoon. 43 year-old James Wilks, of Albany, rear-ended a mail truck stopped to make a delivery. Wilks' pick-up truck then slammed into a utility pole.

The mail truck driver, 49 year-old Sara Hall of Baconton, suffered minor injuries. Wilks was also hurt, but should be fine.

GSP Troopers found alcohol in his pick-up. He's charged with DUI, open container, and driving too fast for conditions.
