Thomasville - The concerts sell out in Thomasville. One reason for the popular comeback is that country music that's played on the radio today, isn't considered country by some.
Concert Promoter Lyn Robinson says, "Most of the music you hear now on country music stations is more rock and rollish sounding. "It's hard to define country music as a definite genre of music as it used to be. And bluegrass is that. It's definitely a different sound than what you hear on the average country station in this day and time."
The next bluegrass concert will be tomorrow night at 7:30 the cultural center in Thomasville. Tickets for the Nothin' Fancy Band are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
