Albany- As an early front-runner, Howard Dean became a target for critics.
Dean supporters say he's succeeded at not only getting the attention of many Americans, but people all over the world.
Because of the heavy criticism, it may be a relief not to be the leader out of Iowa.
"Most of what he has said has come in the spirit of a debate and not in the spirit of dialogue," said Dr. Ray Johnson, a Dean supporter. "Nobody asks him what he means or asks him to explain what he meant my this or that comment. They just took it and ran with it."
South Georgia Dean supporters are holding meet-ups in Albany. They're the first Wednesday of the month at Books-A-Million.
