Albany-- Habitat for Humanity volunteers are honoring Dr. Martin Luther King.

In Albany, members of several local churches are helping construct the "Build on the Dream" home in honor of the famous civil rights leader.

The home is for Rikki Sheard--an Albany man who has never been able to buy a home on his own, "It feels real good. I tell you, God has really blessed me. To have all these people come out who don't even know me and come in and volunteer on their off day is real nice, real nice."

Many businesses donated their time and talents, too. 96.3 WJIZ played music and Papa John's supplied reduced-price pizzas. The build lasts all week.
