Moultrie- Moultrie was one of three cities in the country chosen to receive the Cotton Town USA award.

The city was given a $10,000 grant to help fund the completion Moss Farms Aquatic Center.

"This is a pretty exciting day today because once again we get to celebrate this great facility that we have here the Moose Moss diving facility in Moultrie is really world renowned. We've had divers from all over the world who have trained here not just for the Olympics in '96, but there after also," says Senator Saxby Chambliss.

Moss Farms Aquatic Center is a state-of-the-art diving facility established by local cotton farmer Moose Moss. Cotton Town USA grants are given to towns that rely on cotton production as a cultural and economic cornerstone.
