Tifton- Detectives at the Tifton police department receive about ten new complaints of identity theft or forgery every day.

This is video of computer-generated checks recently confiscated by the Tifton police. Now, they've teamed up with the South Georgia Banking Company and the Tift County Sheriff's Department to host Stop I. T., a two-hour free forum educating the community about how to avoid becoming a victim.

The forum will be held Tuesday, January 27th, at 9:30 AM in the Leroy Rogers Senior Center.
