Mitchell County - A man convicted of child molestation gets a reduced sentence.

Forty-year-old Timothy Johnson of Mitchell County was granted a re-trial, but later pleaded guilty to one count of child molestation.

He was originally sentenced to nearly 30 years in prison, but under the plea agreement, that was reduced to five years. He's already served two and a half years of that.

Johnson was convicted of having sex with a teenage relative.
