Albany, GA – The Parks at Chehaw is searching for adult volunteers who are “wild” about being outdoors, helping others, trying new adventures, and making new friends.
Take a “BITE” out of the New Year, and try helping at a place that is always hopping (or flying, or swimming, or slithering . . .)
Why not learn how to hold an owl, carry an alligator, or feed a snake? Volunteer opportunities include docent (education volunteer), education animal care, horticulture, special event, and special projects.
Interested in discovering more about being a “wild” volunteer? Come to one of our Parks at Chehaw Volunteer Informational Meetings from 6PM-7PM on January 29th , February 5th , and February 10th, 2004.
Volunteer training 2004 will begin in February. Volunteers for this program must be 18 years old or older. Please reserve your place at one of the meetings by calling (229) 430-3012.
