Albany - Qualifying closed Wednesday for Albany's election on February 10th. Mayor Tommy Coleman is being challenged by Dr. Willie Adams and Marcia Felts Wimberly. But, Wimberly's name will not be on the ballot. She qualified as a write-in candidate.

Incumbent Bo Dorough is fighting to keep his Ward 4 seat against Terrence Kennedy, Joann Pope, and Roger Marietta.

Tommie Postell is challenging incumbent David Williams in Ward 6. Last week, Christopher Pike announced his plans to run for against Williams as well, but decided not to run.

And, Incumbent Jon Howard is being challenged by Alfred Hosely in Ward 1.
