Albany - North America's largest truckload carrier is looking to hire South Georgians to drive their trucks.
Curtis Smith stopped by Schneider National's career fair at the Albany Career Center. He filled out an application, hoping he can make a career change.
He wants to learn how to drive a truck. Smith says, "Here I just got through with the basic interview, and they said they would pay for my CDL and training and give you $300 while you're there. You can't miss out on this opportunity with this event."
Schnieder National is opening a new terminal in Atlanta in February, but workers will work from their hometown. The trucking company picks up supplies from Procter and Gamble and delivers across the southeastern United States.
You can pick up an application at the Department of Labor in Albany. There are 400 positions available across the state.
