Albany - A former Albany woman is wanted in several states for counterfeiting checks.

Investigators believe Catheryine Lynn Dandy, her maiden name is Westfield, wrote more than $87,000 worth of bogus checks.

Dandy is accused of making fake ID's, printing checks and using them at businesses. Dougherty County Lt. Craig Dodd, "Right now, we have her in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. We have recently received information that she has been in Maryland. but she keeps coming back to the Albany area."

Dougherty County has 10 warrants on Dandy.
