Albany-- The high profile murder re-trial of a school teacher will dominate the air waves of Court TV Tuesday.

The network will devote its entire day to showing William Scheer's September re-trial, in which he was found not guilty of murder. Scheer had been accused of beating his elderly father to death with a golf club in 1991.

His first trial ended with a hung jury last May, with eight jurors voting not guilty.

He was re-tried anyway, and the second jury acquitted him of all charges after a little more than two hours of deliberations.

Defense lawyers said Scheer should never have been tried in the first place, that prosecutors twisted the facts to fit their theories.

Court TV will air the trial from nine a.m. until 6 p.m. January 13th.
