Lowndes County - A South Georgia airman was killed in a car accident Monday morning.

It happened at the intersection of Prewitte and Bemiss Roads around 6:30. The driver of a Toyota Corolla, 27-year-old Dean Dave Baus of Valdosta, was on his way to work at Moody Air Force Base when he was hit by a Chevrolet truck. The driver, 20-year-old Joshua Warren of Ray City, wasn't injured.

Investigators aren't sure who was at fault.
