Two more people are arrested in connection with Sumter County's first ever meth lab bust.

23-year-old Christy Powell is the girlfriend of a man arrested last month in a raid of a methamphetamine lab in Americus. Powell is charged with conspiracy to manufacture meth. Also arrested is 24-year-old Todd Sellars of Americus.

Investigators says they know meth labs have been in the county for at least two years. Sheriff Robert Ingle says, "But up until the big bust prior to Christmas we had not actually made any arrests on it. We had not been able to get into the manufacturing although we knew it was going on in the county."

Sellars is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Both Powell and Sellars were released from the Sumter County Jail on bond.
