Albany --  Election officials now have their hands on the new district map. The map will be used by the city for the next ten years for elections. On Christmas Eve a federal judge selected the new map and rescheduled elections for February 10th.

Now election officals are quickly working to notify voters that have been shifted to different wards. "We are sending out a precent ID cards to each of the voters who are affected," says election supervisor, Carolyn Hatcher. Election workers are also working to mail out and get back absentee ballots and reopen qualifying for candidates. The last day to register to vote is January 12th.
