(Columbus-AP) -- South Effingham's Patrick Bolen booted a 42-yard field goal with just over a minute to play gave the South a 10-7 victory over the North today in the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association North-South Classic all-star football game.
The South tied the game on the third play of the fourth quarter when quarterback Ferlando Williams of Northside-Warner Robins hit Derrell Stegall of Newnan, who caught the ball at the 20 and ran untouched into the end zone to complete a 61-yard play.
Bolen added the point after.
The North went up 7-0 after its initial drive bogged down and a punt put the South on its eight-yard line.
Neil Brown of Buford recovered a fumble at the 1 and stepped into the end zone for a touchdown.
