Albany - Next time you're waiting in a checkout line, you might want to look for a young south Georgian inside a major magazine.

Thirteen-year-old Andre Young is featured in the Sports Illustrated for Kids January edition. One of his favorite professional players, Lebron James, is on the cover.

Young plays basketball for Albany Middle School. He says stardom has been good and bad. He says, "What do your friends think about it? Some of them are kind of jealous, but some of them are proud of me. My teachers are proud of me and my parents."

Young recently helped a Columbus team win a national championship scoring 25-points in the big game. The teenager started shooting hoops as a toddler.
