(Orlando-AP) -- The Orlando Magic traded forward Donnell Harvey to the Phoenix Suns today in exchange for a second-round pick in 2004.
Harvey was expected to play with Phoenix tonight in Seattle.
Harvey, who led Randolph-Clay High to the state AA finals in 1999, played one season at the University of Florida before turning pro.
He was selected 22nd overall in the 2000 draft by the New York Knicks who traded him that night to Dallas.
The Mavericks traded him to Denver the following year and Harvey signed as a free agent with the Magic prior to the start of the 2003-04 season.
He has averaged six points and about four rebounds in 166 games with Orlando, Denver and Dallas.
