Residents turn in drug suspects

Lee Co.-- People fed up with drugs in their neighborhood tip off Lee County deputies, resulting in six arrests. 32-year-old Brady Cagle and 34-year-old Diana Burrell were arrested Thursday in the middle of a drug deal, caught with cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs.

The next day, 25-year-old Gary Paul Riley and 24-year-old Stephanie Beeney were arrested for possession of a large quantity of meth and marijuana.

Also on Friday, another Lee County couple was arrested for cocaine and marijuana possession. 32-year-old Randall Hatmaker and his wife, 31-year-old Stephanie Hatmaker, are also charged with possession of a firearm.

Both were wanted on outstanding warrants.

    A Grady County project that has been in the works since 2007 is now one step closer to being complete. The conceptual plan for the proposed aquatic center project was recently approved by the Grady County Board of Commissioners.  The plan features an eight lane swimming pool, splash pad, and fenced in play area.
