Law enforcement cracks down during holidays

December 19, 2003

Warwick- Operation Zero Tolerance kicked off Friday night Georgia 300 just inside of Warwick.

It's a 14-day state-wide program that targets impaired drivers through patrols and sobriety checkpoints.

Officers will be checking for seatbelt violations and drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs. They will also be checking for valid insurance, licenses, and tags.

Road checks will be set up at several locations until 2 AM. Over the next 14 days, individual agencies will also set up their own separte road checks.
