Albany -- Two apparent serial robbers are keeping Albany Police on the run, literally. They struck again Wednesday night, at Southside SuperMarket on Martin Luther King Drive.
One of them, wearing a ski mask and carrying a gun, robbed the store, while the other waited in a getaway car. Police spotted their car on South Slappey minutes later, but the robbers jumped out and ran.
Lt. Hosea Miller of the Albany Police Department said "He got behind them. Before he could put the blue lights on, they went into an apartment area and jumped out. He gave chase, for a minute, but lost them."
Turns out the car was stolen. Investigators hope it will lead them to the robbers.
