Thomasville - Representative Collins attended a luncheon at the plaza restaurant in Thomasville, held by the Thomas County Republican party.

Collins came to meet and greet constituents as well as give his opinion on the capture of Saddam Hussein. "I thought that was a great day," he says, "The Commander in Chief, the President of the United States, stood his ground, is not yielded one bit to the criticism that has been very public in this country about us being there and what's going on."

Collins has served 12 years in the United States House of Representatives and is running for the Republican senate nomination to succeed Zell Miller.
