Albany- If you're already feeling the holiday strain on your wallets, get ready to dig a little deeper into your pockets. Gas prices in South Georgia are on the rise again.

Gasoline went up about a dime a gallon overnight.

"I know they go down a little bit and them close to a holiday they shoot back up every holiday. It's getting hectic sometimes just buying stuff because you need it, and even if the price goes up your going to buy it anyway," says Calvin Raymond.

Last week, nationwide gas prices had dropped nearly four cents per gallon.
