Albany -- Tattoo artist Rhian Fenick believes that she has broken a Guinness World Record for the single longest tattoo session.
Fenick's attempt to break the record started Friday and ended a little after 3:00 AM Sunday. Fenick tattooed a design on her husband George.
Her goal was to bet the current record of 33 hours by seven hours. She worked for eight hours at a time and then was allowed only 15 minute breaks.
It will take eight weeks for Guinness to verify whether the record was broken. If Fenick succeed, she will be the first woman to set such a record.
