Valdosta - A South Georgia mall is helping end hunger. Colonial Mall Valdosta kicked off its Joy of Giving campaign Friday.  They presented America's Second Harvest Food Bank with a house built with more than 150 cases of Gerber baby food.

It's also a preview of the upcoming "Canstruction" food drive. Local businesses are encouraged to construct their own food design and display it in the mall.  "They will then be judged and because canstruction is a national competition, the winner will go on to the national level," said Shelley Rehberg, Mall Marketing Director.  "We really wanted to get the community involved in the drive because its never been done here before."

The "Canstruction" project will be in March.
