Waycross- Health Districts across South Georgia are reporting they are out of the vaccine. The Southeast Health District ran out yesterday and doesn' expect to get more anytime soon.

Some are on reserve for children who have received the first dose and are required to get a second shot. The Southeast Health District serves 16 counties including Atkinson, Clinch, Coffee, and Ware. Late this afternoon, the South Georgia Health District, which serves 10 counties, reported it, too, is out of the vaccine. It covers Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Tift and Turner Counties.

Also late this afternoon, the Southwest Health District which covers 14 counties announced the vaccine is out in 10 counties: Calhoun, Colquitt, Dougherty, Early, Lee, Mitchell, Seminole, Terrell, Thomas and Worth.

The vaccine is running extremely low in the remaining four counties: Baker, Decatur, Grady and Mitchell.
