Moody Airmen come home for the holidays

December 12, 2003

Lowndes County - A United 747 made an early morning landing at Moody Air Force Base, and out stepped early Christmas presents. "It's the best present ever," said Air Force wife Jennifer Moylan.

The 824th Security Forces Squadron returned to Moody Air Force Base Friday morning after a four month deployment to the Middle East. As each family was reunited, Jennifer Moylan spotted her husband in the crowd. It's an extra special homecoming for this couple. Senior Airman Shaun Moylan hasn't been home for Christmas in four years. "It's going to be nice to finally spend Christmas with the family and have her around," said Moylan.

Lots of things have changed in the four months he was gone. "Oh yeah, the baby's hair's a lot longer and she's talking a lot more so I'm sure its only going to get worse from here on out!" And little Isabelle is glad Daddy's home.

The family has big plans for this special Christmas. "Going to Tampa Florida, where it's sunny and warmer!" said Jennifer.

But no matter where they are, this Christmas will be one to remember because they'll spend it together.
