Lowndes County - A South Georgia military base is remembering its troops who can't be home for the holidays.

Moody Air Force Base's 60 foot Christmas tree is covered with yellow ribbons. Each one represents an airman deployed in support of Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.

"I think it brings home just how many people we have deployed right now, and how we're all working together to make sure that the mission is complete," said Erica Mitchell, Moody Community Programmer.

More than 400 troops are currently deployed from Moody.
