Albany - The new Flint Riverquarium is 80% complete, and now specialty crews are creating the nature exhibits. The structure of the Riverquarium is nearly finished, and the real work is going on inside the massive building.
Crews are filling the water pools to check for leaks and setting up the exhibits. "The exhibit fabricators are inside creating the natural habitat from the outdoors around the blue holes," said Tommy Chatmon, ATI President.
The Riverquarium is the center of the downtown development project and is expected to open this Summer.
