Albany - Choirs are trying to make your hospital visit more pleasant.

On Wednesday, the Deerfield Windsor School Grand Girls choir sang Christmas songs in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital tower lobby.

Their voices carried to at least five waiting rooms. Student singer, Laura Donnan, says, "Our message is hope and peace during the holiday season. I think it's nice for people waiting at the hospital and patients to hear us sing and hear our message.'

This is Phoebe's second year having carolers in the lobby.

Different choirs will continue singing from now until Christmas.
