Cordele-- A Cordele toddler is severely beaten over two days--deputies arrest his father and his father's girlfriend.
Investigators think 25-year-old Jamie Porter, and 24-year-old Brandy Leedy, abused Porter's two-year-old child. Investigators say the beatings likely happened Saturday and Sunday.
The child's mother took the toddler to a hospital Sunday evening with severe bruises, bite marks and other injuries. Both Porter and Leedy are charged with first degree cruelty to a child. Leedy is also charged with aggravated battery.
