Broxton- The Secretary of State's office is investigating four women, three of whom are known to be candidates in Broxton city elections.
Tuesday, a judge began an administrative hearing into Betty Stewart, Rosa Anderson, Louise Baker, and Jennifer Brockinton.
They're accused of either buying votes or collecting official absentee ballots from the homes of voters and mailing them in.
It could take several weeks before the judge makes a recommendation to the state board of elections about any punishment for the women.
