Albany -- An Albany civic club and the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office are teaming up to provide bring Christmas for children in need.

The Southwest Georgia Exchange Club donated 200 dollars to the "shop with a cop" program. Next week Captain Kevin Spruhl and three deputies will take four children to buy Christmas Presents.

Captain Spruhl said " I can't think of a better thing to do at Christmas than to take a kid Christmas shopping that wouldn't have anything."

If you would like to help, call the Sheriff's Office to donate to shop with a cop.
