Norma Cohen Silver, 90 of Albany died December 5, 2003 at her home after a lengthily illness. The funeral service was be held Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, 11:30 AM at Riverside Cemetery, Rabbi Dana Kaplan officiating.
A native of Toronto, Canada, Mrs. Silver had lived in Albany since 1920. She was a graduate of Albany High School, a member of Temple B'Nai Israel, the Temple Sisterhood where she served as treasure.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Morris Cohen and Leba Rubin Cohen and her husband Harry Silver.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra S. Koross and her husband Herbert of Miami, FL, a son, Jack Silver and his wife Phyllis of Leesburg, three granddaughters, Alicia Koross of Plantation, FL, Michelle Kriete and her husband Steven of Lawrenceville, Jennifer Freeman and her husband Mark of Leesburg, a grandson, Clint Silver of Atlanta, four great-grandsons, Alexander Kriete of Lawrenceville, Landon, Logan and Grayson Freeman of Leesburg.
