Wind rips up barn

November 28, 2003

"What's happening? This is weird, it's scary," says Myrtice Wilson. Around 11:30 Friday morning wind gusts as high as 40 miles per hour ripped up the barn.

It traveled approximately 50 yards where it landed on a Tahoe. The SUV is totaled, but no serious damage was done to the house.

Wilson says, "I went and looked and the shop shelter was on the car. It shoved the car over and landed right on top of it. It sort of demolished it."

Wilson's granddaughters had just gotten out of the Tahoe, minutes before the barn landed on top of it.
