Albany - An outreach ministry is giving hope for the hopeless.
That's the name of their mission. On Thursday, a Thanksgiving meal was served to those who have been helped by Hope for the Hopeless.
Most of these men and women were at one time in jail or prison. The ministry gets people back on their feet.
Monroe Davis got out of prison this year and says this program has helped him get back with his family. Davis says, "They turned their back on me, family and friends. God brought them back in my life and they want to be associated with me now. I thank God for that."
Mr. Davis now volunteers for the ministry. The organization in East Albany was founded by Ann Davis a year ago.
