Leary-- A Calhoun County man will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend and her father.

51-year-old Lenward Brown pled guilty to murdering Daphne Carter and her father, James Carter, inside their Leary home. Brown, distraught over a recent breakup with Daphne, went to her family's home May 14th, and shot them both. Her two children witnessed the shooting. Brown is the father of the youngest child. Brown was sentenced to life in prison.
