Albany- Bruno's Supermarket's Incorporated has announced that it will close the Foodmax on North Slappey Boulevard November 26, the day before Thanksgiving.
The Bruno's location on Meredyth Drive not be affected by the closing.
"I'm very unhappy about it, because we enjoyed shopping here," admits Ethel Ryan, a customer at the store.
Store officials say separation benefits will be made available to the 28 people employed at Foodmax. They also say some workers may be able to move to positions at the Albany Bruno's store.
