Valdosta - A South Georgia organization is helping keep you safe from identity theft.

VSU's Students in Free Enterprise are sponsoring an Identity Theft Seminar Tuesday night. Speakers from the U.S. Attorney's Office, the Postal Service Inspections office, and the Secret Service will be on hand to teach you how to read your credit report and monitor you mail.

"I think its a problem everywhere," said Alan Carter, SIFE Member. "Not only in small town American, but throughout the country its happening and people need to know how to prepare themselves."

November is Identity Theft Awareness month. The seminar starts at 7:00 at VSU's Biology-Chemistry Auditorium.
