Colquitt County-- After being on the run all day Monday, investigators finally arrested a murder suspect Monday night.

Colquitt County investigators say 28-year-old Francisco Ortega stabbed and shot 50-year-old Alfredo Guzman. Ortega had a fight with Guzman Sunday evening at this mobile home park on McMullen Road.

Guzman rented the homes to migrant workers and also supervised the workers, including Ortega. Ortega wrecked this car in Thomas County and got away, but deputies found him last night hiding in a friends home on Shady Grove Road in Colquitt County.

His 24 year old girlfriend, Teresa Smith is being questioned, but charges are not expected to be filed against her.
